We are happy to announce our third lecturer: Daniel Berehulak accepted our invitation and will give a lecture at the 5th LUMIX Festival. Born in Sydney, Australia, Daniel is now based in New Delhi, India and has covered major news in over 50 countries. From 2005 to 2009, Daniel was based in London as a staff news photographer with Getty Images. He then shifted to New Delhi to advance Getty's coverage of the Indian subcontinent with a focus on the social and political instability of Pakistan and its neighbors. His work was awarded many times, especially noteworthy are his three won World Press Photo Awards and the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography which he won for his dramatic coverage of the Ebola epidemic in West Africa. His work is regularly published in magazines such as New York Times, Time Magazine and Der Spiegel.
