The program for the LUMIX Festival is complete!

We are pleased to present you the program for the 5th LUMIX Festival for Young Photojournalism. The complete program can be found here.

The places for the Meet the Photographers as well as the »On Stage« events in the container village will be presented here soon.

Due to the award ceremony for the Dr.-Erich-Salomon-Prize the times for the lectures by Francesco Zizola and Hans-Jürgen Burkard on Friday, the 17th June have changed.

We are very happy for Prof. Rolf Nobel, head of the LUMIX Festival, who is honored with the prestigious award for his achievements for the Photojournalism and Documentary Photography Study Course and the LUMIX Festival:

»With Rolf Nobel, born 1950 in Hamburg, the German Society for Photography honors one of the most influential photography professors, who essentially influenced the German photojournalism both as a photographer as well as the founder of the LUMIX Festival and the Gallery for Photography in Hannover. In the tradition of Otto Steinert, Prof. Rolf Nobel has helped to form the German university education in Photojournalism into a trademark and gaining more international recognition.«

The new schedule for Friday, the 17th June is the following:

2.30pm Lecture by Francesco Zizola

5.00pm Lecture by Hans-Jürgen Burkard

8.00pm Award ceremony Dr.-Erich-Salomon-Prize (guest list only)
